Video Services

It is mutually agreed that the booking form and the following terms and conditions of agreement form an integral part of the contract, that bookings are accepted on these terms and conditions only, and that no variation or modification of this contract shall be effective unless accepted in writing by both parties.


1. A deposit of £100 is charged to confirm booking of services. This deposit constitutes the booking of the service to be provided by Lakeland Wedding Video and not for carrying out the service itself.
2. Should you need to cancel a previously confirmed booking the following charges will be applicable: (i) within one month of the wedding day the full balance is chargeable. (ii) outside one month of the confirmed wedding date, no further request for payment will be sought. (iii) Deposits are non refundable but are transferrable.
3. The outstanding balance will be paid in full no later than 28 days before the date of the wedding.
4. Artistic licence will be granted in relation to the poses filmed and the locations used. Lakeland Wedding Videos judgements regarding the locations and amount of filming will be deemed correct.
5. In the unlikely event that video imagery fails to record due to technical malfunction of equipment, liability will be limited to the refunding of all monies paid.
6. Lakeland Wedding Video cannot be held responsible, or provide refunds, for the lack of coverage caused by any person of the wedding party being delayed for any reason, or on the policy of the church or licensed place of wedding or adverse weather conditions which limit the artistic scope of filming.
7. If you ask Lakeland Wedding Video to provide any additional services not included on the original booking form for the event, these may be subject to additional charges and would be carried out under these terms and conditions.
8. I hereby allow Lakeland Wedding Video to display, for advertising and/or promotional purposes, any imagery related to this wedding.
9. Some venues will have limited camera placement and other restrictions which will need to be complied with. Lakeland Wedding Video cannot be held responsible for any issues arising from these imposed restrictions.
10. You are responsible for ensuring that all consents are given prior to the event to allow Lakeland Wedding Video to carry out the agreed services.  This includes, but is not limited to, permission to film in the chosen venues and permission of persons involved in the event including any musicians and or entertainers and to pay any fees charged by them.
11.  You are responsible for notifying Lakeland Wedding Video of any consent issues at least 28 days prior to the event.
12. Lakeland Wedding Video, if selected will obtain the appropriate PPL (Phonographic Performance Ltd) & MCPS (Mechanical Copyright Protection Society) licences for the audio recording of events and use of copyrighted music.
13. Access to venues should be available at least 1 hour prior to the event to allow filming to take place.  You are responsible for arranging this.  Where this is not possible you will inform Lakeland Wedding Video at least 14 days prior to the event.
14. Copyright of the final edited version of the digital video will remain the property of Lakeland Wedding Video.
15. The final edited version of all video source tapes is at the sole discretion of Lakeland Wedding Video. Any subsequent amends post the review process may incur an additional charge.
16. If the Review Disc service option is selected you will be provided with one DVD review disc. Once you have confirmed the disc content is approved and any subsequent amends have been agreed the final master disc and duplications will be created and deemed correct.
17. No responsibility will be accepted for DVD’s which do not play in generic DVD players. However every effort will be made to resolve such an issue, reasonable charges would be applicable.
18. Please take care to ensure all spelling of names is correct on the Booking Form. Correcting spelling mistakes resulting from incorrectly supplied information on the Booking Form or any other material will be chargeable.
19. When deemed necessary it may be requested for the room lighting to be raised prior tofilming the speeches and first dance in order to film them effectively. This request can be denied by the venue or client. Such circumstances may result in this footage being under lit.
20. All source tape stock remains the property of Lakeland Wedding Video.
21. Requested changes to generic template graphics will be chargeable.
22. Whilst every effort will be made to capture significant parts of the event and scenes requested by you, the decision as to what is included in the final recording and subsequent edit is at the absolute discretion of Lakeland Wedding Video.
23. Upon taking possession of the finished wedding DVD, you will inform Lakeland Wedding Video of any typing or production errors within 14 days.  If no notification has been received, you will be deemed to be satisfied with the product.  Lakeland Wedding Video will use all reasonable efforts to deal with any issues you raise and if justified and can be remedied, will do so.
24.Feedback of your Review DVD must be given within six weeks of receiving your disc. Should feedback not be received within this six week period Lakeland Wedding Video can complete the edit at their own discretion and the final product will be deemed correct.
25. The two DVD’s supplied with each video service option will be single sided (4.7GB) in size. Upgrading to dual sided (8.5GB) DVD’s is available for an additional charge.
